11 weeks
Baby changes this week:
Our baby, just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a lime, is now almost fully formed. His/Her hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under it's gums, and some of the bones are beginning to harden.
He/She is already busy kicking and stretching, and it's tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet. These movements will become more frequent as his/her body grows and becomes more developed and functional.
Things I've been experiencing this week:
Heartburn/indigestion, mood swings, still very tired, cravings for popsicles and always thirsty!

10 weeks
Oh my gosh everyone, I am speechless! I went into our ultrasound appointment today a bit nervous and scared. I was hoping everything would be okay with the baby because we haven’t heard the heartbeat or had an embryo ultrasound. I was thinking that the doctor would be like, “Megan, there’s nothing in here.” I layed down, she put the jelly on my belly and all of a sudden there it was. There was our baby! The baby was waving and moving its legs, I was speechless. In an instant this whole situation became very real to me. There was no denying it or wondering if I was crazy, my baby was right there, looking right at us. I am so in love with this little person already it’s indescribable. I am so blessed that I am healthy and able to nurture this life. I can’t wait to meet him/her!!
I’m in love.
Baby changes this week:
With bones and cartilage starting to form and vital organs beginning to function, baby is making major progress. It's body length will almost double in the next three weeks, and arm joints are now working. Tiny nails are forming on it's fingers and toes (no more webbing) and peach-fuzz hair is beginning to grow on baby's tender skin.
Things I've been experiencing this week:
Increased appetite, little to no nausea, a 4 pound total weight gain, headaches and getting tired very fast.
I’m in love.
