34 weeks
How big is baby? He weighs a little less than 5 pounds. He is the size of a large cantaloupe! and he is almost 18 inches long. We have finally reached the "safe zone." Babies born between 34-37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine.
Weight gain? So far, I have gained a total of 16 pounds. My tummy is measuring exactly where its supposed to be...so he is growing!
Sleep? I feel pretty uncomfortable for the most part. I have a hard time getting settled into bed at night and tend to toss and turn until I find a spot that's comfortable for Miles and I. I wake up tons throughout the night, but I guess its just preparing me for the sleep deprivation I am going to begin to experience in just a few short weeks!
Best moment of the week? I had a healthy check-up with my new doctor yesterday!
Food cravings? Nothing stands out, although, my Dad made a Spanish dish for dinner last night and I cant wait to eat some of the leftovers for lunch today...Deelish!
Movement? Still moving alot! More so at night than during the day.
What I miss: Sleeping through the night, having energy, my cute clothes and...wine!
What I am looking forward to: My next ultrasound on Tuesday and, of course, my baby shower next weekend!
What Miles has been up to this week:
He now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers, which will help regulate her body temperature once he's born, are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well.

Sleep: Still good nights and bad nights, lots of tossing and turning
Best moment this week: Meeting my new doctor and finding out where I will be delivering!
Movement: Tons and tons

Labor Signs: None (thank goodness!)
Belly Button in or out? Completely flat- My Nephew is currently obsessed with belly buttons and gets confused when he can't find mine.
What I miss: Being comfortable...even sitting on the sofa for a relaxing tv night is getting more and more uncomfortable.
What I am looking forward to: My baby shower in just a couple of weeks!

What Miles has been up to this week:
This week Miles is weighing in at a little over 4 pounds and has passed the 17-inch mark! He is rapidly losing his wrinkled alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.

32 weeks
Hello Friends! I'm 32 weeks pregnant and baby Miles is weighing in at about 3.5 pounds and anywhere from 17-18" in length. I can't believe that this week marks my start into my 8th month of pregnancy! It seems so unreal. I remember being 8 weeks and thinking that I would never reach this point. Miles is definitely getting bigger and can be noticeably felt in his strong kicks and punches. I have really started noticing a pattern in his sleep and wake patterns this past week and boy are his awake patterns something else! My stomach will sink from side to side and my ribs being used as monkey bars are a daily occurrence.
For those of you who don't know- I have recently relocated back home to Florida for the remainder of my pregnancy. With Mason currently deployed it is so nice to be home with my family and having the security of knowing that if something were to happen that they would be right there by my side. We are praying that Mason is able to make it home in time for Miles debut! I am excited to meet my new doctor this week and finally get a birthplan set in stone- Wish me luck!

What Miles has been up to this week:
I should be gaining about a pound a week now and over half of that goes straigh to our baby boy. In fact, he'll gain a half to a third of his birth weight within the next 7 weeks as he fattens up for life outside of the womb. He now has toenails, fingernails and real hair (or atleast respectable peach fuzz). His skin is becoming soft and smooth as he plumps up in preperation for birth. He has probably moved into a head down position by now and could descend into my pelvis at anytime within the next 6 weeks. This position not only prepares him for birth but allows for more blood flow into his fastly developing brain. In these last few weeks it's all about practice, practice, practice as he hones the skills he'll need to survive and thrive outside of the womb, from swallowing and breathing to kicking and sucking.

31 weeks
What Miles has been up to this week:
He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. His skeleton is rapidly ossifying (turning from cartilage into solid bone), which means that kicks will become very visible as the trimester progresses. He’s quickly approaching his birth length though he’s got to pack on another three to five pounds before D-day. He’s now processing information, tracking light, and perceiving signals from all five senses. He’s also putting in longer stretches of sleep, which is why I'm noticing more defined patterns of awake (and moving) periods and sleeping (pretty still) periods.
