Hi Friends!
What a week! Busy, busy at work and with Mason deployed the weeks tend to feel like months now. I can't believe that a week from now, I will be in my third and last trimester! Miles has been moving lots, especially at night. I’m really starting to see my belly take on weird shapes as he moves around. Sleep has been rather tough too, it’s for sure getting harder to get comfortable at night and I am awoken by mid-night kicks every so often. I’m feeling very pregnant now. My back is killing me, I have terrible acid reflux at night, I go through a roll of toilet paper a day because I’m in there so darn much and I am always tired.
He’s worth everything.
What Miles has been up to this week:
He’s sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing his eyes, and perhaps even sucking his fingers! With more brain tissue developing, his brain is very active now, responding to stimulus from the outside world. While his lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if he were to be born now.
